5 Years of Teaching, But It All Started Here

I started this club because I saw too many learners give up right after learning the basics.

Before I became a Japanese teacher, a friend asked me to teach them Japanese. At the time, I wasn’t doing it as a job—I simply wanted them to enjoy learning. But to my surprise, they were really happy with the lessons and later told me that what I taught them was incredibly useful in their daily life in Japan. They also said they loved my teaching style because it was real-life-based and easy to apply in everyday situations.

That experience is what inspired me to start teaching Japanese, and now, with five years of teaching experience, I’ve helped many learners improve their Japanese.

I have many non-Japanese friends, and through them, I’ve learned a lot about the struggles they face with the language—when they get stuck, what confuses them, and what they actually need to communicate smoothly. This course was built based on those real-life experiences and the stories I heard from Japanese learners.

If you’re going to study, why not learn Japanese you can actually use? Instead of just memorizing set phrases that only work in specific situations, I want you to develop the flexibility to adapt your Japanese to any situation. My goal is for you to fully enjoy your life in Japan—and if this course can help even one more learner achieve that, I’ll be happy!
